Speedball Instructor
Raquel Feder has always been passionate about nutrition and exercise and is a firm believer that you truly get the results of what you put in. Affectionately known as "Rocky", she was a fitness enthusiast from the very beginning. As a child, she was heavily involved in gymnastics, soccer, skiing and her favorite, dance. Rocky studied ballet, jazz and modern dance. She danced and choreographed for DJ companies and community theatre groups in her late teens and was featured on Good Morning America. Rocky is still dancing today! Upon graduating from GIA as a graduate gemologist, she began her adult life in her family's business, traveling around the world buying and selling diamonds and gemstones . However, she always felt more connected to the physical aspects of her life and knew that she had to follow her heart. Rocky has now worked in the fitness industry for over a decade now, and boasts a variety of accomplishments. She is the co-developer and representative of a supplement, Energized Calcium, of Hamptons Vitamin Company. Most recently, she is featured in a series of videos entitled Buff Moms To Be and Buff Moms sold at major retailers across the country. She has brought Speedball Fitness programs to Long Island, being the first to instruct outside of the New York metropolitan area, and continues to teach an array of fitness classes around the city and surrounding areas. Some of Rocky's certifications include: pre natal/post partum fitness, Bosu, Body Bar, Powerstrike, Smartbells and Speedball. Rocky also has five signature classes of her own: ROCKbody Sweatshop, ROCKbody BootCamp, ROCKbody Core, RiPPed & ROCKed and Dance Revolution. Most recently, she appeared on CBS2 News for a story on Speedball and on NY1 for a story winter outdoor training. Rocky is a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, nutrition consultant, wife, and mother of three. [ team main ] |
